The couple expressed their gratitude for the support they’ve received and while wanting to maintain some privacy, shared the happy news with their fans. The Instagram post included photos of the pair celebrating their engagement. Their on-screen relationship mirrored their off-screen romance as their characters, Samantha and Robby, were also romantically involved in the series. “Cobra Kai,” a sequel series to the original “Karate Kid” film, premiered in 2018 and concluded its run with this final season.

Speculation began swirling after the pair attended the “Cobra Kai” series finale event in Los Angeles on February 12th. They were spotted wearing matching silver rings on their left hands, sparking rumors of an engagement. Netflix then seemingly confirmed the news with a playful post on X (formerly Twitter).

While the engagement may seem sudden to some, Mouser, 28, and Buchanan, 26, have been friends for years, even guest-starring together on the ABC Family series “The Fosters”. Although they’ve maintained they were just friends, fans have long suspected a romance brewing between the two. Buchanan has called Mouser his “ride-or-die confidant”.
